So I have been eating Thai food for years and I have to say that this is one of the best ever. Although, it comes as no surprise because the owner "Meaw" is the head chef that cooks with love and pride. I have no cooking pedigree personally, but I am the top of the heap when it comes to eating ...haha...and it turns out that she uses fresh ingredients every morning...nothing is left over or pre-heated. The bottom line is a meal that tastes like it was cooked homemade in someone's kitchen....IN BANGKOK...so if ur lookin for some good Thai food tonight go to this place!

Nice people but I wasn't impressed with the food. Lad na was basically flavorless and the pad thai wasn't spicy. Also, both dishes were ordered with chicken....and we ended up counting how many (tiny dark meat) pieces we had...Around 5-6? Sucks cause I love thai food!

I've been coming here for over a year and have been pleased every time with every dish I have tried. The restaurant is comfortable and the owners who work there are very friendly; they happy, up beat and I've never felt rushed. You'll find the food is all fresh, light and just tasty. It is the balance of service, cleanliness and just great food that keeps me coming back. My girlfriend and I just did one of their cooking classes for our year anniversary here, it was unforgettable. My recommendations: Pork Toast (oh my goodness, delicious) for an appetizer, pad thai, Thom Yum Goong soup, and any curry. I'm getting hungry just thinking about my last meal. Side note, i'm not sure what's up with the 1 star reviews here....but go check out Urban Spoon if you want to see a larger pool of reviews

Well let's just say that my husband and I were passing thru to home Austin and got a little hungry. I yelped thai food and found this establishment. We jumped off the highway and found much to our dismay the place was closed. Started to get back in the car and we heard someone call out to us "excuse me we'll reopen for you". Being a little hesitant and not wanting to put anyone out I felt I needed to still address my appetite. So we decided to take advantage of the invitation. Best decision I could have made. It's like we had a private restaurant to ourselves. The service was exemplary, the food was out of this world. I would say the best noodle dish and pad thai I have ever ever had in my life. The curry stew was so good I commented on how I wanted to lick the plate. The rice was so light and fluffy it could have floated in the air. The spring rolls and dumplings were needing to be repeated. I actually wanted another order. Need i say more. I haven't been able to duplicate the light , fresh , tastes that we experienced and I'm going to try to duplicate that route again when my husband and I have travels in that area. I will be trying to duplicate this experience here in Austin as well.

Love this place. We are going back for another cooking class in a few weeks. The food is addictive. I can't wait to try everything on the menu. Pork toast and pad thai are my favorites. The decor is inviting and cozy. The owner/chef is so friendly and always welcomes you like she had been waiting for you to come for a delicious home cooked meal. Drop everything you are doing and go. Now. Seriously. Go.

This place is not worth the relatively pricey food. $8.99 for SIX so-so Thai chicken wings? No thank you. They are pretty much just standard, dry fried chicken wings with a sweet and sour sauce on the side. It was extremely disappointing. Also I tried the pork dumplings. When it came to taste it was an improvement, but the value was the same story. It was $7.99 for just FOUR tiny dumplings. And the sauce that came with it was the same sauce that came with the chicken wings. Another disappointment. Once I walked in to the restaurant I knew I was getting myself into trouble. The lack of customers made me very weary, and my intuition was correct; this place was nothing special. All the food was over-priced, and the atmosphere was boring and awkward. I couldn't even discuss the food with my boyfriend in the restaurant without our comments being overheard by the owner, the place was so small. Also, I noticed on their menu they have a cheesecake sampler. If you look on their TV, which has a slideshow of various menu items, you can see that the cheesecake sampler is just some frozen cheesecake cubes that you can buy at any grocery store. The price for this was $6.99 (no surprise). Our total price this dining trip was roughly $17 for just SIX wings and FOUR dumplings, both of which were nothing to die for. With that money we could have bought two Chipotle burritos. Now THAT would have been a better value.

Came in to see what this restaurant offered but found so much more. First, their food is delicious - amazing curry. Try the garlic rice too, very good. Second, they offer thai cooking classes, I haven't tried one yet - but I will (and I'll post an update when I do). They also have a small thai grocery store in their location so you can buy all your cooking supplies.

A tad small inside but very clean. I came here to satisfy my pad thai craving. It threw me off when I saw pad thai under the stir fry category and not noodles. I totally shouldve just got the pad se ew. The pad thai...my goodness..tasted unlike any other pad thai I have ever had. No flavor!!! AT ALL!!! It literally was stir fry. A whole lotta veggies and noodles. It saddens me that a thai restaurant could not get the most basic thai dish right. Don't know if I'll ever go back. But my search for a good pad thai in the Springs continues.. The owners were friendly and attentive though. Kind of scares me that they also have cooking classes there.

Great experience! Delicious and light pad thai. My boyfriend had the drunken noodles, also really good. The egg rolls were a little greasy, but still really yummy and the dipping sauce was awesome, almost like a spicy jam. This is definitely my new favorite spot and I can't wait to go back to try the cooking class!

I've been craving Panang curry for several months now so I suggested Thai take-out. My boyfriend looks up a Thai restaurant nearby and Thai Eats just so happened to be the closest one to us at the moment. The second I picked up the menu, I searched for Panang curry. When I saw they had it (of course, what kind of Thai restaurant doesn't?) , I placed my order right away with one order of Thai tea. First of all, the Thai tea came to me in a very small cup which cost $2.00 so that was disappointing. I got even more disappointed when I opened my food containers at home and saw there was barely any rice and more onions in my curry than chicken which also cost another $14.00. My boyfriend also got an order of Panang curry which brought everything up to about $35. I honestly wouldn't have minded the prices if we got what we paid for. On top of all that, I asked for my curry to be MILD... not super spicy! My tongue was on fire! Tonight's dinner from Thai Eats was my first and last especially after this heartburn.

This place is amazing! My wife and our friends stopped in here, randomly, on our vacation to CO. We love Thai and are hard to impress. This place knocked it out of the park on all fronts. The service is second to none. My wife called a few hours earlier in the day just to see if we would need reservations. We were told we wouldn't, but when we arrived we were greeted by the owner, who said, "Are you the party of 4 that called in? I reserved this table for you." Impeccable from start to finish, and the food was just as amazing. They are a Northern Thai restaurant so the food is less spicy than Eastern or Southern Thai, but the chef (the co-owner and wife) can make it as spicy as you like. We had iced Thai Tea, Pad Thai, Pad See-Ew, Sticky rice and mango, fried bananas and mango, and the exotic three ice cream dessert. Everything was so good. I wish they would open up in Nashville. This will absolutely be on our list to visit the next time we're back.

The food was ok, but definitely not worth the money. The owners are nice and attentive, but no bang for your buck.
